The recent abuse of Sarah Palin on the David Letterman comedy program was utterly beyond the pale. While I don't consider Mrs. Palin as my favorite political figure, the treatment she received on this purported comedy program was borderline obscene and also a demeaning smear. I wonder if it would be appropriate to WRITE the ADVERTISERS who place commercials on this program, and then to ask them if this is the sort of material they wish their products to be associated with?...just asking what to me is an obvious question.
